Faculty of Health Sciences/ Pharmacy

Lab Supervisor

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy

·      Licensed Pharmacist from the Ministry of Health (MoH).

·      Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical related topics including pharmaceutical technology, Pharmacognosy, Therapeutics…etc.

·      Knowledge of Pharmaceutical instrumental assessment methods

·      Competent in using computer, IT technology and its applications

·      Effective verbal and written English communication skills

·      Minimal one-year experience as a lab supervisor in a higher academic institute is an added value.

Faculty of Health Sciences/ Medical Laboratories

Lab Supervisor

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratories / Medical Analysis / Medical Technology / Medical Laboratory Sciences or Clinical Laboratory Sciences

·      Licensed as Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) from the Ministry of Health (MoH)

·      Basic knowledge of procedures for handling and disposal of biological / human-derived / clinical specimens

·      Knowledge of current laboratory safety practices 

·      Ability to work effectively, independently as well as in team setting

·      Competent in using computers, IT-technology and its applications (Microsoft Office) and basic medical analytical devices

·      Effective verbal and written English communication skills

·      Minimal one-year experience in clinical / medical laboratory is an added value

·      Working as a lab supervisor in a higher academic institute is an advantage

Faculty of Health Sciences/ Nutrition & Health Psychology 

Lab Supervisor

Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ Nutrition and Food Science

·      Licensed Clinical Dietitian / Nutritionist from the Ministry of Health (MoH).

·      Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary management for various health conditions.

·      Knowledge of nutritional assessment methods and diet planning strategies.

·      Ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized diet plans and community nutrition programs.

·      Competent in using nutrition-related software, IT tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

·      Effective verbal and written communication skills in English for patient counseling and professional reporting.

·      Minimal one-year experience in clinical nutrition or dietetics practice is an added value.

·      Previous work experience in an academic or healthcare institute is an advantage.
